About Kimba
Kimba Brierley, ACMHC — Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor • Certified Fitness Instructor • Nutrition Coach

I began my work in the wellness world as the founder of KimbaFit, a personal training and nutrition coaching practice built on the belief that change must start from the inside out. For more than twenty years I helped people rebuild strength, trust their bodies again, and create results they could live with — not just achieve briefly.
My philosophy was never about chasing perfection. It was about building a life that could actually hold the change once it arrived.
My evolution into whole-person work
As I worked more deeply with clients, I saw the same truth repeat: physical change rarely held when emotional wounds, nervous system strain, or unexamined histories were still shaping daily life.
That realization led me into the clinical side of healing. I returned to graduate training and am now an Associate Clinical Mental Health Counselor (ACMHC) in Utah, practicing under qualified supervision and integrating a trauma-informed therapeutic lens with my long foundation in nutrition and body-based work.
I see counseling clients in person in Heber City and by telehealth across Utah through my practice at Apricity Counseling & Wellness, which handles clinical intake, records, insurance, and billing. Personal training and nutrition coaching are separate, non-clinical services offered in Park City.

The Practice
My work today.
Mental Health Counseling
Trauma recovery, attachment work, and nervous-system restoration.
Personal Training
Strength and movement coaching that builds confidence and embodiment.
Nutrition Coaching
Non-restrictive, sustainable guidance for long-term wellness.
Whether someone enters through mental health counseling, fitness, nutrition, or retreats, my work centers on one goal: helping people change from the inside out in a way that endures.
Philosophy
My philosophy
I believe healing is less about becoming someone new and more about reconnecting with what was already yours. When the mind is supported, the body is cared for, and honesty is welcome in the room, people often find more room to respond to their lives with intention.
Greater grounding can create more capacity for meaningful change.
